It depends on what you're buying. Our mattresses come with a 180-Night Home Trial — sleep on it at home for up to six months, and if it isn't right, returns are free. We recommend giving it at least 30 nights so your body has time to adjust to any new sleep surface. Furniture comes with a 30-night trial, and bedding comes with 60 nights. In all cases, if something isn't working within your trial window, contact our support team by chat, email, or phone and we'll take care of the return.

No — our mattresses are built in layers, and those layers aren't reversible. Keep it right-side-up.

Hybrid mattresses combine coil support with foam comfort layers. Individually wrapped coils — like those in our hybrids — give you durability, motion isolation, and airflow. The foam layers add pressure relief and contouring. All-foam beds skip the coil system entirely; all-spring beds skip the foam. A hybrid gives you both.

Give it 24–72 hours to reach full size. That said, you can sleep on your Chime mattress right away — even before it's fully expanded, it's ready to do its job.
